For collectors, the midpoint of Series 4 in FH6 is a good time to check what is still available before the Festival Playlist moves forward. “Horizon Mascot Party” runs from August 13 to September 10, and there are several cars, cosmetics, and FH6 Credits rewards worth chasing before the weekly rotation leaves some activities behind.
The biggest mistake at this stage is treating every Series 4 reward as equally urgent. Some cars remain available for the entire series, while others are tied to the current Summer season. If you are trying to build a complete garage, collect new additions, or simply improve your FH6 Credits balance, knowing which objectives have a deadline makes the process much easier.
Start With The Summer Rewards
Summer ends on August 20, so the first priority should be the weekly cars currently available. The 2018 Exomotive Exocet Sport V8 XP-5 requires 20 Playlist Points, while the 1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster requires 40 Points.
The Exocet is an especially useful reward for players who enjoy lightweight track cars. It has a different character from the usual road-focused Playlist rewards, making it a worthwhile addition even if you are not trying to collect every vehicle.
The Datsun 2000 Roadster is another one collectors should not overlook. Older Japanese cars fit naturally into the theme of this series, and getting the car directly through the Playlist is preferable to having to search for it later if availability becomes more limited.
Finish The Short Seasonal Activities
Several Summer activities can also help you reach those reward thresholds without spending hours grinding races. The “Tokyo City Food Delivery” Seasonal Job asks you to complete a delivery shift through the Raku Raku Express story.
Finishing the activity provides three Playlist Points and unlocks the 2017 Toyota JPN Taxi. The taxi is also required for the “Delightful Drop Off” Weekly Forzathon Challenge, so this is a useful activity to complete even if you are not particularly interested in delivery events.
The Summer Treasure Hunt is another quick target. Follow the photo clue in the Shimanoyama Region and locate the treasure chest for three Playlist Points and 100,000 Credits. That instant payment is useful for players who are saving toward cars, upgrades, or other purchases.
Do Not Ignore The PR Stunts
The Summer PR Stunts are also worth clearing before the rotation. With a B600 Retro Sports Car, you can complete the Tanbo Launch Danger Sign, Hakone Turns Speed Zone, and Kawazu Nanadaru Loop Bridge Drift Zone.
Together, these objectives provide six Playlist Points and several Wheelspins. None of the individual activities takes very long once you have a suitable car, so they are an efficient way to fill gaps in your Playlist progress.
For a collector who is sitting at 30 or 35 points and needs to reach the next weekly reward, small activities like these can be more useful than starting a long series of races.
Work On The Long-Term Milestones
Not everything needs to be completed before August 20. The 1970 Honda N600 requires 80 Series Points, while the 1967 Renault 8 Gordini requires 160 Points. Both remain available until September 10.
The Honda N600 deserves particular attention because it is a new addition to the franchise. Players who care about collecting unusual models should make it one of their main Series 4 targets.
The Renault 8 Gordini is a longer-term goal, so there is no need to rush toward 160 points in a single week. Completing the weekly Playlist naturally will give you plenty of progress toward it.
The 200 Mascots Are Worth Your Time
The biggest long-term collectible in Series 4 is the Regional Mascot hunt. There are 200 mascots spread throughout the FH6 world, appearing around cities, villages, shrines, and coastal areas.
Destroying all 200 rewards you with 1,000,000 Credits and contributes toward the “Gotta Smash ’Em All” achievement. The hunt also unlocks special cosmetics, including oversized mascot headgear and the “Fus-Roh-Dah” Car Horn.
You do not need to finish this hunt immediately because the mascots remain available throughout the series. If you see one while traveling between events, it is worth stopping to collect it rather than leaving everything until the final week.
A Better Way To Manage The Midpoint
The most practical approach is to separate urgent objectives from long-term ones. Finish the Summer cars, Treasure Hunt, Seasonal Job, and PR Stunts before August 20. After that, shift your attention toward the Autumn rewards and Series-wide milestones.
For collectors managing their garage and FH6 Credits at the same time, this approach also prevents unnecessary spending. The Playlist gives you several valuable rewards directly, while the Mascot hunt can eventually add 1,000,000 Credits to your balance. That makes Series 4 a good opportunity to build your collection and strengthen your economy without rushing into purchases.
Keep The Series 4 Rotation In Mind
Once Autumn arrives, the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will become available at 20 Points, followed by the 2016 Abarth 695 Biposto at 40 Points. These are not urgent today, but keeping the upcoming rotation in mind makes it easier to plan your next session.
If you are still missing the Summer rewards, focus there first. Players who finish those limited objectives can then spend the rest of Series 4 working toward the Honda N600, Renault 8 Gordini, and 200 Mascots while building their Forza Horizon 6 Credits through normal activities and collectibles.
